Ted cooked and cooked and cooked and whatever he put in that pot was delicious.
I understand he even added the 'catch of the day.' |

In addition to the Cioppino, Ted and his able assistants prepared pasta with meatballs, a delicious salad and cheesecake for dessert. |
|
While Ted was cooking, the rest of us greeted old friends and met some
new ones. There were plenty of snacks to enjoy with a drink or two and
the decorations were a perfect complement to the theme of the day. |

We even had the pleasure of presenting Burgees to three new members. It
is always great to welcome new folks to our SeaGate community. |

After a hiatus of a few years we resurrected the Annual Fishing Tournament. To measure the results by the number and size of the fish at weigh in would not reflect the enjoyment of a beautiful day on the water telling fish stories. We only had six fishermen and fewer fish. In my note a week ago I said the fish were looking forward to our tournament. I think they are still laughing. Nevertheless, awards were presented. |

As a fitting finish to a fun event there were door prizes galore. Very
nice picture frames, shell tooth picks and gift certificates were some
of the gifts won. |
